All-inclusive art breaks in historic Nontron in the heart of the Périgord Vert. Non-painting partners are welcome at a reduced rate.

Come and spend a week improving your skills whilst enjoying the delights of ‘La Maison des Beaux Arts’. You could even throw in a couple of French lessons for good measure with Sophie Mercier, an experienced French french teacher.
Benefit from a relaxed and informal approach to learning with constructive and sensitive tuition encouraging the development of your skills and techniques. There will be a mixture of studio based work using a wide variety of media, organised painting outings and a visit to the Musée du Trompe l’œil at nearby Périgueux.
Included
Tuition, materials, easels, boards and stools. Full board and lodgings with continental breakfast, light or packed lunch and an evening meal with wine. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements.
Not included
Any special brushes, paper or paint. Travel arrangements to Nontron. Please check out possible travel arrangements in the ‘travel’ section of the site.
French lessons which can be organised by the hour.
Wednesday is a free day to do as you wish. Breakfast will be provided with help and advice to plan your day.
Possible activities for non-painting partners.
Golfing, Karting, Fishing, Horse riding, Shopping, Sightseeing, Relaxing by the pool, Intensive course of French lessons and Walking.
Arrival and Departure Times
- Arrive Saturday after 4 p.m.
- Depart Saturday before 12 noon.
- The course starts on Sunday morning and finishes on Friday afternoon.
- Wednesday is a free day.
Rates - All prices are per person per week
- Painters (Tuition, accommodation, and meals) - 900 euros (£ 620)
- Painters sharing a room (Tuition, accommodation, and meals) - 800 euros (£550)
- Non-painting partners (Accommodation and meals) - 600 euros (£410)
- Single room supplement - 300 euros (£200)
All rooms are en-suite.
- A non-refundable deposit of 150 euros (£100) per person is required to make a booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before your arrival.
- It is possible to pay in euros or sterling.
- You are advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance.
